Onimusha: Way of the Sword

 Fight through bloodbaths of intense swordplay action. Explore the historic Japanese capital of Edo-era Kyoto, twisted by malevolent clouds of Malice. With every stage cloaked in mystery, danger and intrigue. Battle against monstrosities from the underworld known as Genma in a tale of dark fantasy. Follow the tale of a samurai who wields the Oni Gauntlet, a mystical artifact that grants its bearer the power to slay Genma. Through gritty, blood-soaked brawls, he searches for his reason to fight. What fate awaits at the end of his path?

 Miyamoto Musashi arrives in Kyoto determined to take his next steps in mastering the way of the sword and proving himself a warrior without equal. However, upon his arrival he is set upon by the Genma. Only after being granted an Oni Gauntlet, and its power, does Musashi find himself able to stand against the fiends. This troubles Musashi, as to him the way of the sword is traversed on one's own strength alone. But how can he rid himself of the Oni Gauntlet?

Musashi's journey will take him on a bloody and meandering path through early Edo-period Kyoto.
