Azeroth Needs Your Artifact Weapon – New World of Warcraft Pre-Expansion Event Now Underway

Before the Battle for Azeroth consumes the planet, Magni Bronzebeard is calling for heroes to help stabilize the wound in their dying world. Starting today, World of Warcraft players can travel to Silithus and draw upon the power of their Artifact weapons to aid in Magni’s mission. Those who do so will find their Artifact becoming increasingly unstable . . . but also imbued with a strange new power.

As the events leading into Battle for Azeroth begin to unfold, now’s the perfect time for players to take on the remaining Legion challenges they’ve been hoping to conquer before the next expansion arrives, including:

• Complete Your Artifact Challenge: The quest to take on the Artifact Challenges unlocked by the Mage Tower in the Broken Shore is now available at all times, so players have more chances to earn their prestigious Artifact Challenge appearance—before the opportunity vanishes completely.

• Earn Legion Raiding Rewards: There’s still time for raiders hoping to obtain the Violet Spellwing mount and two Feats of Strength for defeating Argus the Unmaker on various difficulty levels. The Feats of Strength go away with the upcoming pre-expansion patch (more details to come), and the opportunity to earn the mount disappears when Battle for Azeroth launches on August 14.
